St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is leading the way the world understands, treats, and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Supporting St. Jude helps ensure that families never receive a bill from St. Jude for treatment, travel, housing, or food — because all a family should worry about is helping their child live. St. Jude has helped push the childhood cancer survival rate from less than 20% to 80% today.

The UT Dallas Stream Team Program consists of many talented student streamers on Twitch. During the Fall of 2019, the Stream Team came together to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. By teaming up with St. Jude Play LIVE and Tiltify to raise funds for children in need. The fundraising began on November 1st and ended on December 31st. Our students and their individual communities managed to raise a total of $1,000.00 as a team! A donation of $1,000.00 to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital can help provide two-thirds of the cost of one day of chemotherapy, two platelet transfusions, or even provide platelet count tests for twenty patients.

The manager of the UT Dallas Stream Team, Kelsiplays, believes strongly in St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and how they are changing the way the world fights against childhood cancer, and other life-threatening diseases. In the latest St. Jude Play LIVE season, our Steam Team manager, Kelsiplays raised a total of $2,602.00 in a solo campaign for the kids.
