Over the past two years since the UT Dallas Esports Program was established in Fall 2018, we’ve grown as a program; being named the 14th Athletic Sport at The University of Texas at Dallas under the Athletics Department, we have always worked on creating a strong presence and name for ourselves across the nation. From winning the university’s first-ever National Athletic Championship at Shine 2019, to adding on Rocket League just last year as our 4th official varsity game, our team and program has grown to become known in the collegiate scene. With that being said, we have been working these past few months on revamping our entire brand for UT Dallas Esports, and are finally excited to reveal our new image!
UT Dallas Esports 2020 Re-Brand Kit
As the creator of the UT Dallas Esports Brand & Creative, I have put together a new rebrand to help strengthen our program’s image and digital social media presence. As you’ll see in this new rebrand, we have focused all of our graphics on a consistent and more modern look with the new Comets Athletics Logo, featuring UTD’s new official colors: bright flame orange, dark evergreen, and brilliance white.
In the UT Dallas Esports 2020 Re-Brand Kit, you can find the entire layout of our new image for the entire program, including: Introduction of UT Dallas Esports, Marketing/Brand Goals, History of the UTD Comets, Social Media Graphics, Partnership Packs, Stream Layouts & Assets, Branded Athlete & Staff Banners, and more.
Sponsors, Tournament Organizers, and Press should refer to the UT Dallas Esports Brand page when referencing to our program! Shoot us an email at esports@utdallas.edu for any questions!
Introducing Our Social Content Coordinator
We’re thrilled to bring on Hector Mavrakis as the UT Dallas Esports Program’s first-ever Social Content Coordinator. Hector will be working along our creative staff team to help lead & level-up our digital content game, manage our social media channels, carry out our vision for the UT Dallas Esports Brand & Image, and make super-fire memes.
“Hey everyone! My name is Hector Mavrakis and I am a Junior studying ATEC here at UT Dallas. I am extremely passionate in Design and Marketing, working previously at the UCC and doing freelance graphic design. Most of all, gaming and esports has always been beyond exciting to me, inspiring me to start my own gaming podcast at RadioUTD and now joining the amazing team here at UTD Esports as the Social Content Coordinator! Some of my favorite games include Super Mario Sunshine, Luigi’s Mansion, and Rocket League. Get ready to see more amazing events and content to grow our program as big as it can be!” – Hector Mavrakis, ATEC Undergraduate Student ’22
