RICHARDSON, TX (8/30/2021): Greg Adler, the Head Esports Coach at The University of Texas at Dallas has announced that he will be departing from UT Dallas and UT Dallas Esports. From being the university’s first-ever hire for esports back in August 2018, Greg has been with our program since Day 1 and helped build it from the ground up over the past 3 years. Growing from just 2 varsity esports teams (Overwatch and League of Legends) to now Overwatch, League of Legends, Smash Ultimate, and Rocket League. In addition, the Esports Program under Greg has launched a Content Creator Program, received 2 National Championship Titles, and has had many appearances & trips across the nation.

We truly cannot thank Greg enough for everything he has done for our program, and wish him the best of everything for his next chapter in life!
